Green products drive decarbonisation
Companies are critical for our rapid decarbonisation. I have worked with many to solve materials science problems and enable decarbonisation of their processes to produce green products.
Some of my work has been patented and commercialised. This provides further avenues for supporting the research we do and scaling up the science into real change.

Designed a lab scale biomass to energy reactor (gasifier) that was commericalised for research and is installed at Ulster University.
Patented technology related to the detection of markers in milk and is now testing for COVID-19 antibodies. The technology arose arose from my masters research.
Developed microfluidic biotechnology for the dairy industry.
